What you get for the money
Adesso sits in the value tier. At retailer listings that generally run from around $60 to $250 for table lamps and roughly $130 to $400 for floor lamps, the money buys painted or plated metal, wood veneer and fabric or acrylic shades rather than solid brass or hand-blown glass. What you are paying for is current styling and built-in features — USB and wireless charging, dimming, cordless rechargeable operation — at a price a multi-unit project can absorb.
Where it gets used
These are portable and plug-in fixtures: bedside and nightstand lamps, living-room floor and arc lamps, home-office desk task lighting, and reading lamps in hotel and senior-living rooms. The cordless rechargeable models get used on restaurant tables, covered patios and event setups where running power is impractical. The pendant and flush-mount pieces suit rental and spec-home ceilings where the budget is tight.
Specifying notes
Most Adesso portables are 120V plug-in with switches on the socket, cord or base rather than hardwired dimming, so confirm whether a given lamp is dimmable before pairing it with a wall dimmer. Integrated-LED models are non-replaceable by design — check the spec sheet before specifying them for a long-life application. Cordless models are rated for indoor and covered-outdoor use only; if you need a genuinely wet-rated exterior fixture for a South Florida pool deck or unroofed patio, look at a hardwired wet-listed line instead.
