About Juno Lighting
Juno makes LED recessed downlights, canless fixtures, track systems, undercabinet and tape lighting for contractors and specifiers, and has been part of Acuity since 2015 (Acuity Brands renamed itself Acuity Inc. in 2025). It is a workhorse brand rather than a decorative one — the product that goes above the ceiling and gets forgotten, chosen for the breadth of housings, trims and track accessories rather than for looks. Electrical contractors, builders and lighting designers are the buyers.

What you get for the money
Juno is priced as an architectural and contractor line — above big-box house brands, below boutique specification downlights. The value is in the system: housings, trims, drivers and track accessories that all fit together, published photometrics and spec sheets for each family, and enough part-number depth that a whole building can be lit from one brand. Acuity publishes limited warranty documents for its LED luminaires; the specific term varies by product family, so it should be confirmed on the spec sheet for the exact catalog number.
Where it gets used
Juno recessed and canless downlights are used across new residential construction and remodels, retail, office and hospitality ceilings. The track families cover retail display, gallery and residential art lighting, with Trac 12 handling cabinetry and cove accenting. Undercabinet and tape lighting go into kitchens, millwork, cove details and display casework.
Specifying notes
Track systems are not universally interchangeable across brands — Trac-Master and Trac-Lites fixtures cross-fit each other, but confirm circuit count and voltage before mixing anything else in, and note that commercial TEK is 120V while HTEK is 277V. For downlights, confirm IC vs non-IC rating and the damp or wet location listing individually: many Juno LED downlights are wet rated, but not all are, and a covered lanai or shower in South Florida needs the rating on paper. The Trac 12 rail is a low-voltage system with its own transformer sizing, so calculate load before specifying run lengths.

Who represents Juno lighting in South Florida?

Juno is an American brand headquartered in Des Plaines, Illinois and owned by Acuity Inc., but its products are not universally US-made. If domestic content or Buy American compliance matters for your project, ask me to confirm on the specific catalog number.
Are Juno track heads compatible with other brands' track?
Do not assume so. Juno's own Trac-Master and Trac-Lites fixtures cross-fit each other's track, but circuit count, voltage and rail profile differ between manufacturers. Send me a photo of your existing track and I will identify it before you order heads.
Can Juno downlights be used in a covered lanai or a shower?
Many Juno LED downlights carry damp or wet location listings, but the rating is per catalog number, not per family. Confirm the listing on the spec sheet before installing anywhere exposed to moisture.
