Justice Design Group manufactures ceramic, glass, alabaster, textile and metal fixtures at its own Los Angeles workshop, where it states each piece is handcrafted. What you get for the money
Justice sits in the mid tier on price but behaves like a custom shop: what you are paying for is US manufacturing in Los Angeles, hand-applied finishes, and the ability to specify a shape, finish and function combination instead of accepting a stock SKU. Bisque ceramic ships unfinished so it can be painted on site to match a wall color, and Justice will custom-paint to a supplied brand and paint code. That flexibility, not raw material cost, is the value.

Justice states its ceramic will not rust or corrode, which is a genuine advantage on a coastal Florida job — the failure mode on a salt-air sconce is usually the metal backplate and hardware, not the shade, so specify the mounting hardware accordingly. Bisque finish arrives paintable and unfinished; if the job expects a finished fixture out of the box, order a finish rather than bisque. Because shape, finish and function are ordered as a combination, the catalog number encodes all three — get it confirmed in writing before release.
