About Kuzco Lighting
Kuzco was founded in 2006 in Surrey, British Columbia and builds contemporary decorative fixtures with integrated LED — chandeliers, pendants, linear suspensions, sconces, vanities, flush mounts, exterior fixtures and architectural cylinders. It is now the head of a group that also includes Alora and Alora Mood, the Auroralight landscape brand acquired in 2024, and Insight Lighting's architectural products acquired in 2025. Designers and builders use it where a modern LED look is wanted at a price below the architectural brands.

What you get for the money
Kuzco is mid-tier — retail listings run from under $100 for a small flush mount to roughly $2,600 for a large foyer chandelier. The warranty is where the money shows: one year on indoor fixtures generally with five years on LED components, a lifetime warranty on stainless steel finishes, five years on integrated LED outdoor fixtures, two years on socket-based outdoor fixtures and on painted outdoor finishes, and on ceiling fans a lifetime motor warranty with five years on integrated LED for residential use. LED arrays are not considered defective until more than one in ten LEDs fails.
Where it gets used
Kitchen islands, dining rooms, two-story entries and stairwells for the pendants, linear suspensions and chandeliers; bath vanities and mirrors; hallway and bedroom flush mounts. The exterior range covers wall fixtures, ceiling mounts, bollards, step lights and path lighting for entries, walkways and outdoor living areas. The cylinder and Trilo Track products push into light architectural work where a decorative brand still has to hit a downlight or accent requirement.
Specifying notes
Most of the line is integrated LED, which means the light source is not user-replaceable — plan on the fixture as the serviceable unit and check the warranty tier before specifying anything hard to reach. Painted outdoor finishes carry only a two-year warranty while stainless steel carries a lifetime finish warranty; in coastal Florida that difference is worth paying for. Kuzco also runs a Design-Your-Own pendant program for configurable stem, canopy and shade combinations. Confirm dimming protocol and driver type on the cut sheet — integrated-LED decorative fixtures are the most common source of dimmer incompatibility complaints, and Kuzco's warranty excludes third-party components with their own warranties.
