The practical implication of the rename is warranty: Visual Comfort states one year on products generally, five years or 50,000 hours on integrated electronics and LED, and five years or 15,000 hours on LED bulbs. That is the coverage that applies to current purchases, whatever the fan is called on an older invoice.

Bedrooms, great rooms and family rooms indoors; covered patios, lanais and screened porches for the indoor/outdoor models. Larger spans - 60 and 72 inches - suit high-ceiling great rooms and open-plan living. Light commercial use covers clubhouses, restaurants and multifamily common areas.
