The fan side covers indoor, hugger, outdoor and wall fans with matching light kits and patio light kits; the lighting side covers chandeliers, pendants, sconces, vanity, linear, entry, picture and under-cabinet fixtures plus outdoor wall, post, pendant, chandelier and ceiling mounts. It also sells door bells and chimes, which is unusual for a lighting brand and handy on a builder package.

Quorum is a mid-tier residential brand competing on breadth and price rather than on handcraft. The value is that a builder or homeowner can get the fans, the matching light kits, the interior decorative fixtures, the exterior fixtures and even the door chimes from a single supplier. Fan motors are the component that matters most on a fan, and Quorum publishes warranty documentation covering its fans — confirm the specific term for your model before relying on it.
Where it gets used
Quorum's core use is whole-house residential: bedrooms and great rooms for indoor fans, low-ceiling rooms for hugger fans, and covered porches, lanais and patios for outdoor fans. On the lighting side it covers dining rooms, entries, kitchens, baths and hallways plus exterior wall and post lighting. In South Florida the outdoor fan range is the main draw, because a fan on a lanai is not optional.
Specifying notes
The damp versus wet distinction is the whole ballgame on an outdoor fan: Quorum publishes both, and a damp-rated fan belongs only in a covered, protected location while a wet-rated fan is what an exposed pool deck, open pergola or unroofed patio requires. Verify blade span against room size and ceiling height, and confirm the downrod length separately — it is rarely included at the length a high ceiling needs. Patio light kits are a different part number from indoor light kits; do not substitute.
