About Birchwood Lighting
Birchwood Lighting is a Leviton brand, acquired in 2017. BW165 Suspended and BW165 Recessed are the workhorses, BWA250 Acoustic adds sound absorption to the luminaire itself, and Kelsey and Jake are available in RGBW colour-changing versions.
The acoustic product deserves a mention on South Florida commercial work. Open-plan offices and restaurants with hard finishes have a noise problem that no amount of good lighting fixes, and an acoustic linear luminaire does two jobs from one ceiling element — which is usually easier to get through a budget review than a separate acoustic treatment.
