About EGLO
EGLO is an Austrian lighting group founded in 1969 and still headquartered in Pill, Tyrol, where product development happens; manufacturing runs out of plants in Austria, Hungary, China and India and the company sells in more than fifty countries. The US range covers interior ceiling, pendant, wall, table and track lighting, outdoor and solar fixtures, ceiling fans and lamps. It is a volume brand, bought by homeowners, remodelers and builders who want a current look at a low price point.

EGLO is a value-tier brand and the price reflects volume manufacturing — steel and glass bodies, integrated LED modules on much of the range, and a design language that tracks current trends rather than aiming at permanence. The company runs seventeen warehouses totaling around 200,000 cubic meters of storage, which is the real advantage here: availability and breadth across interior, outdoor, smart and lamp categories from a single supplier.
Where it gets used
Bedrooms, hallways, kitchens, dining rooms and bathrooms in apartments, rental turns, remodels and spec homes, where the fixture needs to look current and land under budget. The outdoor range — wall lights, path lights, ground lights and solar — covers residential entries, walkways and yards. EGLO's smart and connected lighting products also get used where a homeowner wants app or voice control without a full control system.
Specifying notes
US-market product is 120V; do not assume a fixture shown on EGLO's European sites is available or configured for North America. Several pendants, Bocadella among them, are convertible to semi-flush, which helps in low ceilings. Note on warranty: the five-year guarantee EGLO publishes for professional light states on its own face that it applies to products purchased in the European Union or Switzerland, so US terms should be confirmed with EGLO USA rather than assumed from that document.

Are EGLO fixtures dimmable?
It depends on the model — some are integrated LED with specific dimmer requirements and some take standard replaceable lamps. Check the spec sheet for the item number, and match the dimmer to it rather than the other way around.
